Update Browser

Postby grimmmouse » Thu May 16, 2013 5:50 pm

What browser is SN using to submit entries? I'm getting some sweepstakes sites that ask me to update my browser for the sweepstakes to work properly? My computer is currently updated. What gives?

Sounds strange.

Sweepstakes Ninja does use MSIE -- (internet explorer)... so it might be asking for that?

I am seeing several sweeps that fail and report IE7 is not supported.
What version of IE dies Ninja use?

That would actually be your own browser. Sweepstakes Ninja uses the 'default' MSIE browser you have installed on your system. So if you upgrade that, then you should be a-ok.

Thanks!

That is very weird. It could be the mistake is on 'their' end (because usually they use javascript to detect that). If you see another one like that, let me know and I'll look into it.
